Just Passin’ Thru

 I have already posted a kit last year with my daughters name so I had to do one with my sons name of course! It was fun to make as I tried a few new things out. I am sorry about the preview size I just can’t seem to get photobucket to resize correctly its either too big or the size you see in this post. They added a new image editor and obviously changed things around. ughh! :(

Also, thank you for all the lovely ‘thank yous’, they are much appreciated. I am glad there are people that enjoy and have use for my designs… I really enjoy creating them, so thats a bonus!

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish spoil or fade…… “1 Peter 1:3-4

 There in the ground his body lay,

Light of the world by darkness slain;

The bursting forth in glorious day

Up from the grave He rose again!

And as He stands in victory

Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me,

For I am His and He is mine -

Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

While New Beginnings is an appropriate name for an Easter Themed kit, this new kit is actually a baby kit. The first parts released today is in blues and greens, the second parts will be pinks and mauves.

Again, a big thanks to the Ephemeral Victorian for the gorgeous bows, frills and buttons.

“Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man,

though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. “

Romans 5:7-8

- ~ – ~ -

“Behold the man upon a cross,

my sin upon his shoulders;

ashamed I hear my mocking voice

call out among the scoffers.

It was my sin that held him there

until it was accomplished;

his dying breath has brought me life-

I know that it is finished.”

Well it is actually our first days of summer if you’ve read my previous posts! :-)

So here is my new kit Last Days of Summer. I was particularly happy with the way the stitched heart came out- thanks to Brandy O’Neal (MegaDoodle Inspired) for the heads up on the Obsidian Dawn brushes. Still not a skill I’m confident in, but I was satisfied with the heart. Big thanks to the Ephemeral Victorian for the gorgeous beaded ribbons. And sorry about the small previews :o

Its autumn but our summer has finally arrived!!! I shouldn’t complain about the lack of summer weather, I hate the heat. But we have finally had a succession of days with temps over 30C, instead of the odd one.

I have caught the spring cleaning bug (early I know) after getting hooked on Shannon Lush and Jennifer Fleming’s How to be comfy. So I further fed the cleaning fever and bought their book Speedcleaning. They are filled with some fab house keeping tips. And Shannon Lush is an absolute master at choosing the best substances to clean all manner of things. The stuff you can do with vinegar and bicarb is amazing.

Here is the other part of the Fearless kit. Papers are displayed on the keyring!

Enjoy

Yes, it has been a while. But I needed a break as life has been very hectic. My son seems to have finally settled into pre-school and all our activities are now in full swing. I have done a tonne of scrapping- which usually then inspires me to create. So I have three kits lined up for you.

The first kit is called Fearless… inspired by a certain one and a half year old and I’m sure will be applicable for the dare devils in your life! The colours are strong and bold; blue, green and yellows.

There will be two sets of downloads. Part 1:
