Thank you for all the kind comments on my Woodlands kit.

Here is another set of flame shape brads for you, with a jewel inlay.

Since its a special occasion, I’ve got a new kit to share with you all. Its called Woodlands. This earthy kit has got absolutely nothing to do with Australia Day but it is an excuse to post it. Australian don’t tend to wear their patriotism on their sleeves unless its about sport. You’ll recognise parts of Woodlands from my blog header. The contents are split over four parts to make the downloads more manageable, so make sure you get them all.

Thought I’d give you all a break from my prolific paperclip collection(yes there are more sets) … deep down I’ve always known I’m a bit of a Bert from Sesame Street! ;) Anyways today its some brads.

Well my little man went off to his first day of preschool. As I mentioned I was very nervous - he has never even been to day care- but he actually told me to go (nicely of course)!! Sniff. Sniff. Once he spotted the train set he was settled. When I picked him up he apparently had only got a little upset at rest time asking for mummy, but was soon okay again. I also had a very productive day- housework, groceries etc. And as you can see a little freebie hunting!

I have another two packs of brass paper clips for you- pinks and oranges. As before, the packs include files with and without the drop shadows.

Tootles…

By now my regular visitors will realise how dodgy I am at making links to my files. I have now repaired the link to the first set of paper clips.

In answer to a question by Sharon aka Scrapcat4914, yes there will be a few other sets in different colours so check back regularly.

 thanks for your patience :)

Nikki

I am sooo excited, tomorrow my little man starts pre-school! He doesn’t seem to be nervous one iota…me on the other hand, I have the butterflies and I am double checking the handbook making sure I haven’t forgotten anything.

Today I have two sets of paper clips with blue enamelled tops. These are in a wide range of blues. So if you are like me there should be more than a few things in your stash you can use these with. Each file has the collection with and without drop shadows.

Finally figured out why my 1 year old wont let us sleep- teeth of course. She only got her first two at ninth months and has now decided she could do with the matching top teeth - no warning (ie dribbling, redness etc). At least after a dose of paracetamol and bonjela we got a full nights sleep. We are all alot chirpier, so onto business.

Here we are… the final part of my South Pacific Kit. If you haven’t collected the other parts don’t worry, the links will be around for a while yet.

Giving away another part to the South Pacific kit is just the thing to brighten me up after a sleepless night courtesy of Miss 1yr old. I don’t know whats up, but sleep hasn’t been high on her agenda the last two nights.

We are up to our 4th part of the South Pacific kit - orange.

We are finally having some pretty hot weather here. Today is a toasty 36 C - not a patch on our usual summer temps, but warm enough.

Has anyone begun scrapping those Christmas pics? I just can’t decide which kit to use. There were so many fab freebies on offer over Christmas. So, with what I downloaded plus what I had created I have too much choice! That said, I am already thinking about Easter (not for scrapping) as I am organising our Kids club program at church for this year over the summer break, and Easter is early in the first term this year. Thankfully even though there is so much due to start up next month the commencement dates are fairly well staggered over February. It will be a big month too, as my brother-in-law and his family are finally moving back to Australia after 7 years in the desert!!! (Tucson, AZ) Sounds more like religious experience than a homecoming! :p I am also looking forward to our family holiday down at Jervis Bay.

Here is the second part of my tropical, summery 5-part kit, South Pacific. As I have tried to convey in the previews, I think the kit pieces look good set on white. Don’t be afraid to leave some white on your pages- even just a border. It can be effective, and as you know sometimes less is more! :)

Thank you to those who took the time to comment on the Morning Stroll kit. My next kit is very different from what I have made so far. It was inspired in part by fabric from my daughter’s skirt. It is a vibrant kit… just the thing to brighten up life for those of you in the middle of winter! It will be available in five parts by colour (just for something different).

This is the first part: 3 papers, 2 frames, 2 flowers and 1 clip.

Here is my favourite and the final part of the Morning Stroll kit. My up coming kit has a very tropical summery feel, for as you know half the world is enjoying summer at present… also makes a change from all those pretty snowflakes that seem to be in all the latest freebies! ;p Will be available later next week.

Here is the first part of the papers I have made for the Morning Stroll kit. I meant to post the other parts first so this pack didn’t look so out of place but I mixed everything up this morning!  :/

Happy New Year!

Here it is the summer holidays- time to relax take a breath before everything begins again. This year promises to be jam-packed and I’m almost paralytic when I think about February- too much on!

I have put together another four part kit in shades of mauve, teal, green and brown. The first part is an elements pack- I went a bit mad with the brads (and frames as you will see in part 2).

Please don’t be shy about showing off your handiwork with any of my kits. I would love to see what you do with them. Download here.
