Well, life moves on and only seems to get busier! I am closing my Pretty Scrappy Store and will, for the time being, be exclusively at Nuts4Digi. But there’s a bit of good news mixed in with the sad… my entire Pretty Scrappy Store will be on sale until it closes, 31st December.

Its a great time of year. For those of you in the southern hemisphere, not only is it the Christmas season with carols and fireworks and parties, but it is also the start of summer holidays and the end of a school year. It can get very busy this time of year but I am determined to make sure my family and I take time to really celebrate and reflect on the special meaning of Christmas.
This year, as a family, we are creating our own Jesse tree. This is an advent calendar which follows the story of Jesus right from the Old Testament through to the nativity. For each reading that we do each day, my children create an ornament that represents the story or reading. Then we hang it on a tree (this years tree is a hand drawn tree, cut out stuck to a wall).
So despite the hectic social calendar, I have been creating. Today I have an add-on on for the Nuts4Digi challenge prizes from November. A pretty kit, Where The Heart Is celebrates home and family.

I have had a bit of fun with the Nuts 4 Variety Challenge over at Nuts4Digi this month. The challenge was to create a desktop, so I have made mine up in a few sizes for desktop hunters to grab! I have used an eclectic range of a few of my kits to make this one!
